Five Things I've Found on the Ground in Colombia

1. Sleeping Animals

When they're not eating, they're exhausted.

2. Aguardiente

The remains of a popular Colombian liquor, called aguardiente.
Each part of Colombia has their own unique brand. All of them taste like licorice.

3. Stacks of Rocks

(in Tatacoa Desert)

I just thought they looked cool. I know absolutely nothing about why they are stacked like this.

Probably aliens.

4. Cacti with Fruit Candy

(also in Tatacoa Desert)

The little pink fruit taste like kiwi. The spines taste like blood.

5. Poker bottle caps

La alfombra de Colombia: Poker. (With a guest appearance from Águila.)

  1. Are the rock formations everywhere? I mean we're the aliens everywhere? Also, why did the fruit taste like kiwi and the spines taste like blood? LOL 😊 Love you and love these posts. It will be sad when you have to stop because of your clerkship but it's only for one year and then you can blog again! BTW, I loved the sleeping kitty. (AWWWW) We are having kabobs, couscous, cucumber salad, and Red, White and Blue cupcakes for Kids Dinner this week. Wish you were here to enjoy Memorial Day with us! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Mom

  2. I think the rocks are aliens, too. Also, are you sure that horse wasn't dead?
